AIDC Program Update
The AIDC 2010 runs from Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 February, in Adelaide, Australia.
Whilst the official Conference sessions begin on Wednesday 24, there are a number of key activities scheduled for Tuesday 23. Please take these activities into consideration when booking your flights:
- Science Exchange Pitching Session - science stories will be pitched by scientists, to science producers and science broadcasters.
- First Factual Films Festival - delegates are invited to the opening night including the first screening (from approximately 5:30pm).
- Stanley Hawes Award Ceremony including the inaugural Stanley Hawes Address.
- AIDC Opening Night Function - delegates are invited to attend this special event from 7pm. This function is a great opportunity to welcome all delegates to the Conference, and it includes drinks, canapes and much socialising.
- Screening Room - open for delegates to view Videotheque and Trailer Park submissions for acquisition, distribution and co-production purposes.
- Registration Desk - beat the Wednesday morning rush, register and collect your Conference pass from 10:30am.

Online Marketplace
The AIDC co-production and acquisition programs are now available online.
Completed documentaries (both final and rough cut) that are ready for acquisition and/or distribution can be submitted to Videotheque.
Documentary project trailers that are ready to pitch to potential investors can be submitted to Trailer Park.
Completed documentaries and project trailers can be uploaded to the Screening Room and viewed by broadcasters, distributors, sales agents and festival programmers. After viewing, these executives can contact the filmmakers and producers directly, through DocExchange, to begin discussions.
